The pontoon system is based on rotationally moulded, polyethylene flotation modules and are manufactured from high impact and stress crack resistant polyethylene. The material is U.V stabilised and does not suffer from osmosis or corrosion. Polyethylene flotation modules are virtually indestructible and maintenance free. They are suitable for fresh and saltwater marine environments, along with harsh sewerage, effluent and mining environments.
Standard modules are hollow and are fitted with top entry inspection ports. Modules have the ability of being filled with ballast to increase stability or change the pontoon draft and free board. Modules can also be foam filled for additional security if required.
Pipe floats come in two halves that are assembled around the section of pipe they float.
D = Support Capacity (half submerged)
E = Total Capacity (fully submerged)
Boom floats are perfect for suspending pipes, cables and nets below the waterline.
